We love working with local small businesses to help nurture their ‘babies’, and are equally at home diving head-long into complex, drink-from-the-fire-hose type projects for large organizations. Ruth is the founder of Diagonal Growth Strategies. She is a marketing generalist with deep experience conducting secondary market research, analysis and strategy work. Ruth started her career in sales and marketing for one of the first Apple retailers, followed by a stint in high-growth technology firms, including Qualcomm. In her consulting work, she has spent hundreds of hours researching the strategies of a broad range of industries to assist companies with their revenue models. More recently, she added not-for-profit organizations and small businesses to her knowledge base and enjoys helping them with their marketing challenges. She is currently finishing her certification in Economic Gardening, and is serving as the primary market research provider for Economic Gardening for the State of Colorado. Ruth holds an M.B.A. in marketing and international business from the University of Washington and a B.A. from the University of New Hampshire.
Sandy is a Google certified Adwords specialist with over seven years of experience in Internet marketing. She has managed PPC campaigns for small to Fortune 500 companies, including a major media and telecommunications company. In addition to SEM and SEO, Sandy has built an interactive web site for the Boulder Valley School District and managed email marketing campaigns for local retailers. Sandy graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a B.A., and is a certified multi-media specialist. Sandy’s firm partners with Diagonal Growth Strategies to bring deep expertise in the web marketing to the tactical planning and implementation phase of the marketing process.
